Dear EWP Champions,

On behalf of the European Commission, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your outstanding work as EWP Champions over the past years. Your dedication, expertise, and willingness to share knowledge have been invaluable in supporting the digitalisation of Erasmus+ mobility. By acting as a key source of information and providing critical input on the development of Erasmus Without Paper, you have played a vital role in shaping its future.

Your insights, shared in the kick-off meeting, webinars and Champions meeting at the EAIE
—highlighting both opportunities and pain points—
have been instrumental in helping us refine and enhance the EWP framework.

As we continue strengthening the European Student Card Initiative, we are pleased to announce that this spring, we will launch a new call for ESCI Champions, with three dedicated categories:

We encourage all current EWP Champions to apply for this next phase, for all relevant profiles. The selection process will be conducted by the Digital Officers and DG EAC, ensuring that the new cohort of champions continues to represent excellence in digital transformation for student mobility. More details will be shared with you in the very minute as they become available.

To support this transition and provide an opportunity for knowledge exchange, we warmly invite you to a webinar on 3rd March 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET. The link for the webinar:
